Entry cancellation (refunds) 

Unfortunately, refunds are unable to be offered for entry cancellations.  

However, we do offer the facility to transfer entries to someone else if you are unable to participate. 


Entry transfers

Online

Competitors may transfer their entry to another person via the online portal up until midnight on Sunday 28th October 2018. Online transfers will not be available after this date.

The original entrant will receive a full refund less the transaction fee ($1+2.5%) and the new entrant will be required to pay the entry and transaction fees. 

Event day

All entry transfers after midnight on Sunday 28th October 2018 should be made at registration on event day. 

Replacement competitors are required to bring the registration details and written evidence from the original competitor stating that they agree to the transfer taking place. 

Event day transfers will incur a $20 admin fee (cash only).  

Replacement competitors should allow extra time to complete registration on event day. 

Exchange of funds for race entry fees will be a private transaction between the two runners. 


Entry category changes

Online

Competitors can change their entry to a different category via the online portal up until midnight on Sunday 28th October 2018.

All entry category changes after midnight on Sunday 28th October 2018 will need to be made at registration on event day. 

Competitors changing their entry to a more expensive category will be required to pay the difference in entry fee together with a transaction fee (2.5%). 

Competitors changing their entry to a less expensive category will not be required to pay any fees.  

No refunds will be made for category changes where the entry fee is lower than what has already been paid.

Event cancellation 

The event organisers reserve the right to alter the course without notice and/or cancel the event in consultation with, and under the direction of, emergency services agencies and major event stakeholders or landowners. In the unlikely circumstance that the event is cancelled for reasons outside of our control such as weather, fire, flood, park closures or any other reasons, we will be unable to offer a refund of your entry fee.  

Every effort will be made to reschedule the event to a later date.  

If the event is rescheduled all entries will be transferred to the new event date. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer entry fee refunds if the event is cancelled or if a competitor is unable to make the revised event date. 

Notification of the cancellation or postponement will be made by email and announcements will be made on the event website and Facebook page.  

Transaction fees

All online entries will attract a transaction fee of $1 + 2.5% unless stated otherwise in the sections above.
